the color of sun and its men,
brown is the filth and the gold hidden in it,
brown is the truth and its lies.
brown is the ghost of my dreams.
I wake with black shadows and brown walls.
brown is the color of my mistakes.
Athena's kin with olive skin,
his eyes the brown that breaks my will.
his skin the brown I'm drowning in.
Bound with earth yet unearthly.
His eyes always far away from me,
yet he makes me falter effortlessly.
I was unsure with uploading this one.
While I wrote this with one particular person in my mind, I didn't consider much of anything else. I like the picture it paints but I feel like this might offend some readers accidentally.
